A former politician, Mary has served ministerial roles from 1997 to 2011. She served as Tanaiste (Deputy Prime Minister) for 9 years, became the first woman to lead a political party in Ireland and held many important ministerial portfolios, including Minister for Health and Children for 7 years. She is notably the longest-serving female Government minister and TD in the state’s history.
Enda is the CEO of smart energy provider Pinergy. Enda founded Pinergy in 2012 following a career of over twenty years in the professional services firm Mazars, in leadership roles across business advisory, corporate finance and consulting. Enda is a chartered accountant and joined the Pharmed Group Board of Directors in 2021.
Declan has held a number of senior management positions in sales and marketing within the ethical, OTC and distribution sectors over the last 30 years. Declan has been responsible for strategic, operational and commercial decision making during this time and has been Managing Director of the Pharmed Group since 2005 and currently holds the position of CEO.
Dara has spent over 20 years working in senior finance positions within the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. Progressing from financial control to directorship responsibilities, Dara has been a director of the Pharmed Group since 2005. Dara is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a past treasurer of the Pharmaceutical Managers Institute (PMI).
A member of the Pharmed Group of directors for over 15 years, John currently holds the position of CCO for the Pharmed Group and is responsible for commercial strategy. Having started his career in 1999 in the healthcare sector, John’s previous experience has been in senior sales and marketing managerial positions within the medical, laboratory and healthcare sectors.
